Privacy notice
This page explains which personal data the graziahoneggerfresco.it website processes, why, and for how long. The website has been designed to collect as little as possible: visitors receive no cookies, and data is processed only by the controllers and by the services listed on this page.
Who is the data controller
The website is run by Sara Honegger and Fulvio Honegger, who are the data controllers. For any question about privacy you can write to [email protected].
The website is built and technically managed by Develrock srl, acting as data processor. The website's servers are located in the European Union.
Which data we process
Browsing data
Like every website, this one records some technical information about the requests it receives, for security reasons: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type. This information is used to protect the website from abuse and to solve problems; it is not used to identify visitors and it is deleted automatically after a short period (30 days at most).
Visit statistics
To know how many people visit the website and which pages they read, we use Umami Cloud, a statistics service by Umami Software, Inc. (San Francisco, United States), which processes the data on our behalf as data processor. Umami does not use cookies and stores nothing in your browser. For each page visited it receives the page address, the website you came from, the type of browser and device, the language and the country of origin, and turns them into aggregated data only (for example: how many visits the Biography page had in a month), without identifying visitors; according to the provider, the IP address is only used to work out the country and is not stored. If you have enabled the "Do Not Track" option in your browser, your visits are not counted.
Umami Cloud may also process this data on servers outside the European Union: in that case the transfer is governed by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, which are part of the provider's data processing agreement. The legal basis is the controllers' legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used.
Contact form
If you write to us using the form on the Contacts page, we use your name, your email address and your message only to reply to you. The message is not stored on the website: it is forwarded by email to the website's mailbox, where it is kept for as long as needed to handle your request. The legal basis is your request to be contacted.
To protect the form from spam we use an automatic check (ALTCHA) that runs entirely in your browser and on our servers, without cookies and without external services, and a limit on the number of messages that can be sent in a short time from the same IP address.
Reading the magazine
The pages of Il Quaderno Montessori are shown as images served by our servers. To prevent the automatic download of the whole magazine, the website counts for a few minutes the requests coming from the same IP address; this information is only kept in the server's memory and is not recorded.
YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook videos
Videos are shown with a preview image stored on our servers: until you start a video, the website does not connect to YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook. When you press the play button, the video is loaded from the service that hosts it (YouTube, in its "no cookie" version youtube-nocookie.com, Vimeo with the "do not track" option, or Facebook), which from then on processes your data according to its own rules: Google privacy policy, Vimeo privacy policy and Meta privacy policy. These services may transfer data outside the European Union.
Links to other websites
The website contains links to other websites (publishers, libraries, associations, Wikipedia). Once you open them, the privacy rules of those websites apply.
How long we keep data
- Browsing data: 30 days at most.
- Statistics: aggregated data, kept by Umami Cloud for 6 months.
- Contact form messages: as long as needed to reply and handle the request.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict its use, and you can object to its processing (articles 15-22 of the European Regulation 2016/679, "GDPR"), by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
The website does not use cookies for its visitors. Details are on the Cookies page.
